DAMMIT

I need a copy of the trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS. All I can find is a download for CS2. My key won't work for it. Does anyone know where I can get it? Or would anyone be able to let me download it through messenger or whatever? I have SuperDSL. If anyone would be so kind as to allow me to do this it would only take about 10-15 minutes for a 300meg file. And I think it's smaller then this after the original file from Adobe is extracted. I would be in the greatest debt if anyone could help... Thanx, Mike

Does this not stink of a "warez" thread to anyone else?... What does this mean?

Warez are illegal copies of programs/software activated by cracked codes and/or serials.
If you indeed have a legal copy of the Adobe CS program and for some reason it got lost/damage. It takes only a few steps at the Adobe site to download a new copy (providing you show proof of purchase) and since you have Super DSL it should not take long to download.
Making a public post requesting a copy of a program because you have an activation key sounds a little too suspicious.

As I said above I think Adobe also replaces destroyed media for valid owners with a valid registration.

I don't think the registration key you get with your CD would work on a trial copy. I don't even think you can permanently register trial copies of Adobe products.

You might be right, i don't know about Adobe - don't have it.

i get too upset with them everytime I need another updated reader (rural dialup).

WELL!!! I have never been accused of htis before !!! I'm not that type!! True, I paid much less then retail for it, but it was from a website I have been visiting for quite a long time. Everything is very legal there. I don't appreciate these insinuations at all!! I can understand everyone's concern, but this is just... Ok, I see what you guys think now

Hazylunarrain,

I don't think anyone is accusing you of anything.

The truth is that Adobe offers 30 day free trials of many of their programs, and you can then purchase the program from them.

If you have already downloaded a 30 day free trial, you then have the option to purchase a product key, which you use to unlock the 30 day free trial and it will then become a full version program that you own.

Requesting a download for an older or current version on a public web site, instead of contacting Adobe directly, throws up red flags due to the fact that Adobe is more than willing to work with customers to replace software, if you can provide them with proof that you actually paid for the program you are requesting help with.

There are many resources for getting a product key that may work with a given product that do not originate with the software company. Most, if not all, of these resources are either hacked or cracked keys (and would be considered illegal by Adobe).

The main concern is that illegal software activity not be part of this web site, and therefore we expressed some concern over the request.

For future reference, you may want to contact the software company in question, and explain the circumstances to them. Most software companies are willing to help.

Peace.

I have seen people sell trials and a crack. Any time you pay much less than retail for new software you should ask yourself why.

Not related to software, and a little OT, but one of my housemates bought a DVD on ebay, I thought the case for it was strange, since there was no barcode or any of the other usual stuff there. Additionally, the illustration on the casing was clearly printed in plain inkjet paper in low resolution. So I wasn't surpriced to find the bottom side of the DVD being purple. If my mate had done a quick google, he'd quickly find out that the film never have been released on anything except VHS. (I gave him a smack in the back of his head because he deserved it.)

I prefer buying software, DVDs and CDs from places I know. Avoids me getting stitched up like my friend.

Naaaaa, This was nothing like this, I even contacted Adobe tech support regarding the site in question before I bought it. I did it that way because I wanted to make sure if I purchased an upgrade there would be no conflicts, etc. I just want to make it clear that this copy of mine isn't hacked or cracked. I WAS given a crack by someone I knew. But it was for Acrobat and I don't use that anyway. I won't repoert her, but I made it clear to her how, and why what she was doing was wrong. I agree with everyone here, I don't want to be the only person that stole my software...lol But then again, if I find a good deal, I'm not going to pass it up... Especially if it's legal
